Nature: Phytic acid is light yellow to light brown slurry liquid. Phytic acid is easily soluble in water, ethanol and acetone, and is almost insoluble in ether, benzene and chloroform.

 

FUNCTION

1. Phytic acid is widely present in plant seeds in the form of calcium, magnesium and potassium phytate. It is also present in animal nucleated red blood cells, which can promote the release of oxygen in oxyhemoglobin, improve red blood cell function and prolong the survival of red blood cells.

2. Phytic acid itself is a beneficial nutrient for the human body. The hydrolysate of phytic acid in the human body is inositol and phospholipid. The former has anti-aging effect, and the latter is an important component of human cells.

3, Phytic acid has a strong complexing ability for most metal ions, the complexing force is similar to EDTA, but it should have a wider range than EDTA. The phytic acid divalent or higher metal salt can be qualitatively precipitated.

4. Each phytic acid molecule can provide six pairs of hydrogen atoms to form a stable structure for the electrons of the radical, thereby replacing the fresh-keeping molecules as oxygen-donating molecules to avoid oxidation and deterioration of the fresh-keeping materials.
